nature, history and cultural heritage

Alevi Camping is an ideal starting point to explore the beautiful and wooded surroundings of the Klarälven valley. By car, bike, canoe or on foot you can enjoy the mysterious Värmland. We help you with pleasure to discover the valuable Värmland nature, culture and history.

Brattfallet

Brattfallet is a 10 meter high waterfall. When the water flow is high, the waterfall is very powerful. After the waterfall Brattfallet Halgån flows through a gorge.

A wonderful place for a picnic or a walk. In summer, when the water is low, you can also walk over the stone walls right next to the waterfall.

Dala horses

These wooden, hand-painted and often red horses are for sale in most souvenir stores, but if you want to be sure about the origin of your horse, you have to go to Nusnäs. In this village the horses are made and painted by hand.

During your visit you can see how the Dala horses are made and of course you can buy your own Dala horse.

Church ekshärad

Cross-shaped wooden church built in 1686-1688. Inventories include the baptismal font from the 13th century, the hollow ways and the sacramental cabinet from the Middle Ages. In the church there is a textile room with objects from the 13th century.

The church is famous for its beautiful forged crosses, most of which symbolize the tree of life.
